A visit to the recently discovered 6th.C. floor mosaics of the House of Stone Carpets will make you tour complete.

All these marvels can be seen simply by taking a stroll through the centre of Ravenna and a short trip to S. Apollinare in Classe, just 4 km. away.
During our walk in the pedestrian area you will have a chance to step into a mosaic workshop, have a pause for coffee in the main square and visit the Tomb of Dante Alighieri, Italy's most distinguished poet, who died here in 1321.
